Anna Faris is coming to Chris Pratt's defense! The Mom star is standing up for her husband on Twitter after his controversial "blue-collar" comments.

"Chris feels terrible about the thing he said-I can attest to this-he is up at night," Faris wrote on Tuesday. "Truthfully-and I want to be frank- Chris is truly the best person I know-and he will be annoyed with me for tweeting this-but I love him."

Faris' tweets came after Pratt was criticized remarks he made during his Men's Fitness interview. The Guardians Of The Galaxy star told the magazine that he often doesn't see his blue-collar upbringing represented in films.

"I don’t see personal stories that necessarily resonate with me, because they’re not my stories," Pratt told Men’s Fitness. "I think there’s room for me to tell mine -- and probably an audience that would be hungry for them. The voice of the average, blue-collar American isn’t necessarily represented in Hollywood."

Many criticized Pratt for his comments, noting that many recent movies did tell the story of blue-collar Americans – including Oscar nominees Manchester By The Sea, Fences, and Hell or Highwater. And even Pratt seemed to regret what he said. He tweeted on Friday, "That was actually a pretty stupid thing to say. I'll own that. There's a ton of movies about blue collar America."

Of course, this isn't the only time Anna Faris has stood by her husband. She's been at his side throughout his Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 press tour. And he posted a sweet note on Instagram to thank her.

"Thank you for the support honey!" he wrote in part. "You look so beautiful. These press tours can be such a whirlwind. I'm grateful to have you and the boy with me on this one."

Pratt similarly gushed about his wife at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony last week. "I want to thank my wife Anna, I love you," he said. "You’ve given me so much. You gave me the greatest star in the galaxy in my little boy, I love him and I love you. We have bonded to make this molecule that is more important to me than air or water, and without it none of this means anything to me."

He continued, "With every challenge, with every day, week, month, decade, we become more bonded. You make me laugh like nobody else. You’re very caring, and thank you for your trust and your sacrifice — and for your dedication and your heart. I will do my best to protect it, and in return I will give you all of those things as well. You have my heart, my dedication, my trust."
