Beyonce was recently spotted kissing Jay Z outside a SoulCycle class. And reports say the couple has attended several of these classes over the past week. And even though she just gave birth less than two months ago, a source told E! News that the singer "was able to last through the class and [use] the weights without a problem."
"She is slowly starting to get back to her 'normal' life,” a source told People. "Her babies are now six weeks old, and she started working out again. [Jay Z and Beyonce] are motivating each other to stay in shape."
The E! insider added that Beyonce is "easing into" her diet and exercise regimen because she is "still recovering" from giving birth. But she is staying healthy by "drinking many green juices and trying to watch what she puts in her body."
Beyonce's love of SoulCycle is well-documented. Us Weekly previously reported that she attended daily SoulCycle classes in the months before she gave birth. She particularly enjoyed classes run by Oprah Winfrey's pal Angela Davis. Jay Z frequently joined Beyonce for these classes, as did her former bandmate Kelly Rowland.
Fans first got a glimpse of Beyonce's slim post-baby belly at a July listening party for Vic Mensa's album. At the time, sources told People that she hadn't even started working out again yet. So now that she is back exercising, the rest of the baby weight should come off quickly.
After all, Beyonce slimmed down in a hurry after her first pregnancy. She didn't have much choice, as she scheduled a show just three months after giving birth to Blue Ivy. She dropped around 57 pounds by eating lots of fish and quinoa and avoiding pasta, red meat and rice. She also stayed active by dancing and doing cardio and lunges.
"I'm not a person that is naturally very thin," she told Shape in 2013. "I am a person that has to work at keeping my body in shape."
