Beyoncé wasted no time in shedding the baby weight after Blue Ivy. And that was very clear when looking at the stunning 32-year-old artist in videos from her new self-titled album.

The Grammy-award-winning singer says she doesn't simply want to be viewed as a wife and mom! During Part 4 of Beyoncé’s documentary Liberation, Jay Z’s wife explained the struggle she was facing balancing life as a mother and an artist. “I was breastfeeding, cornrows in my hair, because I was spending so much time being a mother. I would take a few hours out of the day and record,” the singer explained.

“In real life I was this woman, this mother, trying to get my focus and dreams and myself back," she continued. "Recording this album was such an outlet for me to kind of escape and create whatever world and fantasy that definitely at the time was not happening.”

In “Partition,” Queen Bey returns to a time before Blue Ivy, when she and her husband couldn't get enough of one another “It takes me back to like when me and my husband first meet, and he’s trying to scoot me and, like, he thinks I’m the hottest thing in the world,” Beyoncé explained, admitting the fantasy that inspired the video. "The day I got engaged was my husband's birthday and I took him to Crazy Horse and I remember thinking, ‘Damn, these girls are fly.' And I just thought it was the ultimate sexy show. I wish I was up there, I wish I could perform that for my man … so that's what I did for my video.”

And Beyoncé definitely looked fly as she strutted her stuff on stage, teasing her husband with revealing ensembles. “I was very aware of the fact that I was showing my body,” the mother to little Blue Ivy said. “I was 195 pounds when I gave birth, I lost 65 pounds, I worked crazily to get my body back. I wanted to show my body," she confessed.

Beyoncé Beyoncé comes clean about how much weight she lost for her visual album.

"I wanted to show that you can have a child, and you can work hard and you can get your body back. I know finding my sensuality, getting back into my body, being proud of growing up, it was important to me that I expressed that in my music because there are so many women that feel the same thing after they give birth."

The gorgeous star added that through her visual album she wanted to show mothers that they shouldn’t be afraid to shine a spotlight on their sexuality. "You can have your child and still have fun and still be sexy and still have dreams and still have yourself," she shared. "I don't at all have any shame in being sexual and I'm not embarrassed about it … I don't feel like I have to protect that side of me because I do believe that sexuality is a power that we all have."
