Amal Clooney and Beyoncé's baby bump styles could not be more different. Though they are both expecting twins, the similarity ends there.
Amal has gravitated toward loose A-line silhouettes and classic styles, while Bey has been sporting second-skin, body-con looks that leave little to the imagination.
In fact, Bey just took to Instagram to show off yet another skintight look. She looked hotter than ever in her curve-hugging white dress at an Alvin Ailey event. The performance was to support Tina Lawson and her group Tina’s Angels.
During her incredible performance at the 2017 Grammys, Beyoncé flaunted her bump in a sheer gold Peter Dundas dress. She then changed into a body-hugging scarlet Peter Dundas dress for the rest of the event.
It's hardly a surprise that Jay Z's wife would celebrate her body in form-fitting styles. But Amal has taken a very different approach.
George Clooney's wife officially debuted her baby bump in February at the 2017 Cesar Awards. At the time, she stunned in an Atelier Versace gown with a fringed ombré hem.
Amal has done a great job of switching up her styles throughout her pregnancy. She has sported a mix of whimsical prints and monochromatic styles. But the silhouettes are almost always the same: loose, A-line and softly grazing her belly.
From a Dolce & Gabbana mini in London to a bright-and-sunny Bottega Veneta ensemble in NYC, each look has been on point. More conservative than Bey, no doubt. But Amal has been taking risks with playful prints. And we love that.
At the end of the day, Beyoncé and Amal's baby bump styles reflect their personalities and careers. And we'd happily shop in either closet.
