Blake Lively’s weight loss is amazing! Hitting the red carpet in a sleek black and gold dress, Ryan Reynolds’ wife looks sexier than ever at the 2017 Golden Globes.
Lively is at the 2017 Golden Globes to support her husband Reynolds, who was nominated for his work in Deadpool. But we couldn’t help but notice how incredible Lively looked on the red carpet. She showed off her flawless figure in a black and gold frock. It’s hard to believe she just gave birth to her second child in September!
So what are Lively’s diet and exercise secrets? Lively previously talked about how she got her post-baby body after she gave birth to James. But she admitted that she worked harder than normal because she was getting ready to film The Shallows.
“The struggle is that I am doing a movie in a bikini eight moths after having a baby and there is a level of insecurity and vanity that comes with that. You don’t want to be the person in the magazines that they are saying, ‘ugh, look at her’ rather than ‘wow, look at her,’” Lively previously said.
In order to drop the weight fast, Lively went on a strict, healthy diet by cutting out gluten and soy. She had four small meals a day. She also went on a rigorous fitness regimen where she would work out almost every day with trainer Don Saladino.
For the most part, though, Lively has a more relaxed approach to diet and exercise. While she does go to the gym, she prefers other forms of exercise like hiking or riding a bike. She loves to cook and keeps a healthy diet by using fresh, healthy ingredients.
Lively also believes in embracing your curves. “It’s so unfair, though, because it’s so celebrated. It’s like, this is what someone can look like after a baby. I think a woman’s body after having a baby is pretty amazing,” she said. “You don’t need to be Victoria’s Secret ready right away because you just did the most incredible miracle that life has to offer. I mean you gave birth to a human being! So I would really like to see that celebrated.”
