Caitlyn Jenner Earning More Money Than Bruce? Why 'I Am Cait' Star's Net Worth Could Be Higher Than The Kardashians' (PHOTOS)
Caitlyn Jenner could earn a lot of money following her gender change. And while she insisted her transition had nothing to do with net worth, she realizes she’d be foolish not to accept some of the offers that will improve her net worth.
“I’m not doing it for money,” Caitlyn told Vanity Fair of her transition. “I’m doing it to help my soul and help other people. If I can make a dollar, I certainly am not stupid. [I have] house payments and all that kind of stuff. I will never make an excuse for something like that. Yeah, this is a business. You don’t go out and change your gender for a television show. O.K., it ain’t happening. I don’t care who you are.”
Caitlyn Jenner’s gender transition has been a huge topic of conversation around the country. And she shattered the record for the fastest person to $1 million Twitter followers. So it’s no wonder many believe she could earn plenty of money after her transformation. Insiders think she could earn more than $100,000 for speaking engagements, compared to the $25,000 Bruce made.

“First off, now she’s getting such a huge audience,” branding expert Dan Schwabel told People of Caitlin Jenner. “All the media is paying attention. Media attention transfers into promoting [her docuseries I Am Cait] and the speaking fees will increase.”
In fact, some sources believe Caitlyn Jenner could end up with a higher net worth than the Kardashian sisters. She was already worth an estimated $100 million, and now her endorsement deals and branding opportunities should only increase.
“She could become the wealthiest of them all,” Gossip Table host Rob Shuter told New York Daily News. “If Bruce Jenner made $100 million in 65 years, if all the stars align, she could be worth over $500 million in the next five to 10 years. Caitlyn is going to be a pioneer.”

Talent agency CAA will help Caitlyn Jenner manage her new speaking engagements. And if Caitlyn Jenner decides to write a memoir about her gender transition, she could earn even more money. Insiders think the reality star could receive a $10 to $15 million advance for her book.
“It’s going to be one of the biggest publishing events ever,” Emi Battaglia, director of marketing and publicity at Regan Arts, told EW.com. “Everybody in town who is able to pay a pretty significant price—because I don’t think it’s going to come cheaply—is going to want to be in [on the book auction].”
Still, while Caitlyn Jenner’s net worth should increase in upcoming months, she also had to spend a lot of money to complete her gender transition. One plastic surgeon estimated that the Caitlyn’s facial surgeries alone cost her $70,000. And she will have to continue taking hormones to keep up her appearance, which could set her back between $100 and $500 a month.
