Did Cameron Diaz get plastic surgery? New photos of the actress have fans wondering if she went under the knife.
Diaz was photographed outside the Lasky Clinic with husband Benji Madden on Monday. The center specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery. And she was holding a white cloth on the side of her face. Some are speculating that the cloth contained an ice pack, though that has not been confirmed.
Of course, it's possible Diaz was just having a mole removed. Or she was getting some kind of stitches on her face.
But many are now looking at Cameron Diaz's before and after photos to see if her face looks different. And some are speculating that she received Botox or some other injections. Diaz has even admitted using Botox in the past, though she said she regretted it.
"I've tried [Botox] before, where it was like [a] little tiny touch of something," she told ET in 2014. "It changed my face in such a weird way that I was like, 'No, I don't want to [be] like [that]' … I'd rather see my face aging than a face that doesn't belong to me at all."
Indeed, Cameron Diaz has been a proponent of showcasing one's natural beauty. She made headlines back in March for posting a makeup-free selfie on Instagram. She even released a book earlier this year about aging gracefully.
"There's no secret to aging well," Diaz said in April. "There's a basic way of doing it and it's called living. It's how well you live...how well you take care of yourself. There are five pillars of well-being. It's good nutrition, good movement of the body, good night's sleep, stress release and meaningful, connected, loving relationships."
Still, Cameron Diaz told Oprah.com that she had nothing against plastic surgery. She just wanted her readers to know that aging goes beyond the wrinkles on the skin.
"I have absolutely no judgment on what makes people feel good about themselves," she said. "Because really, that is what those procedures are for, they are to help people feel a little bit better about themselves. And if they do feel better about themselves, then those procedures have worked. I don't have any problem with that."

She added, "But my emphasis is that aging is a cellular event … Know that at the depth of the deepest part of yourself, you're still aging. Places that the Botox doesn't reach, you're still aging. So it's very, very important to know what happens to yourselves, how you … can manage that aging on a cellular level."
