Colleen Ballinger's ex, Joshua David Evans, opened up about his feelings after the divorce in an emotional new video. He returned to YouTube for the first time since the breakup and posted a video of him and his sister Erin Elyse Evans singing "True Colors."

"I dedicate this video to my sister @ErinElyse1130," Josh Evans wrote on Twitter while introducing the video. "You made my life bearable when I thought I'd lost everything."

Erin Evans then replied back, "I love you @JoshuaDtown. "I look up to you so much and am so incredibly proud of you. And Josh wrote in response, "You're truly my rock. Thanks for never giving up on me."

The video began with a quote from Anna Taylor that again hinted at the pain of his divorce. "It is often while travelling through the dark that you find the ones who shine brightest in your life," the quote reads. "For they are the ones who remind you of your own beautiful light. They show up, without a second thought, in your pain, as well as your glory."

Then Josh and Erin Evans begin singing "True Colors."  The song includes emotional lyrics like, "And you've taken all you can bear/You call me up/Because you know I'll be there."

The video starts out in black and white, with Josh in a chair by himself. About two minutes in, Erin sits beside him as they sing together. At one point, he even bursts into tears as Erin comforts him. And with about a minute left, the video becomes color as they hold hands.

Clearly, Josh Evans appreciates everything Erin has done for him after his divorce. She even took over his channel temporarily so he could have some time to himself.

And Erin Evans knew exactly how Josh was feeling. She revealed last week that she also went through a divorce.  "It definitely hurts to watch my big brother go through something so similar," she said.

HOW COLLEEN IS MOVING ON AFTER DIVORCE ...

Erin Evans added at the time, "Josh and I knew when it was time for him to come back that we wanted to work on a really special project together. Now that you know that we share very similar scars, the project that we worked on together will make a lot more sense when you see it."

Colleen Ballinger, for her part, hasn't directly responded to Josh Evans' "True Colors" video. But she may have thrown shade at Evans on Tuesday night. The "True Colors" video initially leaked on social media a day early. And shortly after the leak, Ballinger tweeted an eyes emoji.
