Courtney Stodden’s controversial run on Celebrity Big Brother has come to an end. The reality star and Twitter celebrity was eliminated from the U.K. version of the show last night, fittingly posing for her eviction pic in a tight pink mini dress. British bookers and betting sites had Stodden as a 10–1 favorite to win Celebrity Big Brother this season, but she was eliminated in the latter stages of the competition. However, it remains to be seen what will happen with her marriage to husband Doug Hutchison now that she has left the house, or if she will move forward with rumored plans to divorce him.
Speaking to E! News after her eviction from the house, Stodden said her time on Celebrity Big Brother was positive despite the elimination. "I was able to come away with strength, wisdom and positivity from my experience. I feel more like a grown woman," she said. But when asked if she would ever participate in one of the many Celebrity Big Brother shows worldwide again, Stodden gave an emphatic “Hell no!” She will remain in London for at least another week to do interviews and pursue other business opportunities.
Despite saying that she missed husband Hutchison more than anything during her time on the show, Stodden also hinted that everything may not be perfect in their marriage. The teen bride’s newfound independence has left many speculating that she may abandon Hutchison. She was spotted erotically dancing in one episode with fellow Celebrity Big Brother contestant Mario Falcone, before he made a hasty exit and declared: “I don’t do that with married women.” A source told Daily Mail that Hutchison is “freaking out” Stodden will divorce him because he was blacklisted from Hollywood for marrying the then-16-year-old in 2011, when he was 51.
“He means so much more to me than this freaking house, and I don’t want to leave this house feeling so strong and independent that I can’t depend on him anymore," she confided to her housemates. "I don’t ever want to let him go and I don't want him to let go.”
The age difference of more than 35 years has led to almost inevitable problems in their marriage. They appeared on VH1 reality show Couples Therapy last year and revealed some of their marriage troubles, and are also starring in a sex therapy video series that hints at more compatibility issues. The series, entitled Passion and Pleasure, features the couple openly talking about their sexual differences and her husband’s lack of libido. Stodden is reportedly upset that her much-older husband does not want to have sex on a daily basis, while Hutchison has expressed concern about his wife’s overly sexual image.
