Have George Clooney and girlfriend Stacy Keibler split? Was Clooney’s reluctance to get married to blame? People first reported the breakup, saying the split was due to the actors wanting different things in life.

"Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that," a source told People.  "They talked and they quietly stopped being a couple several weeks ago."

"They talk every day. They were friends before they started dating and they'll be friends after. It was a friendly [breakup],” the source said about Clooney, 52, and Keibler, 33.

Despite the report, TMZ is saying that Clooney and Keibler are still living together, but it’s rocky. “We're told there's definitely trouble in paradise,” the website reported “and it's all because of the couple's hectic schedules.” The couple unfortunately hasn’t been seen together since March due to their busy schedules. Keibler is filming Lifetime’s Supermarket Superstar, while Clooney is always filming. "They haven't seen each other in a while and they've both been working so much, so in recent months, they've started growing apart," a different source shared.

Stacy Keibler and George Clooney Stacy Keibler always supported George Clooney at award shows.

Clooney and Keibler started dating in 2011. They first met in 2006 when Clooney went up to the former wrestler.  "It's so funny," Keibler told People back then. "George Clooney came up to me, and he was like, 'You're so great. You should win.' And I said, 'You watch Dancing with the Stars? '"

In September 2011, the two debuted their relationship at the Toronto Film Festival where Keibler apparently held her own with Clooney. "One of the recurring themes of the night was that Stacy had her own conversations going on and that she wasn't following Clooney around like a puppy dog,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. "They were comfortable and affectionate and seemed socially poised as a couple. The two clearly work not only as a pair, but also independently. [Stacy] really stood on her own. George was not overprotective and didn't have to look after her."
