Do Honey Boo Boo's parents still have money problems? Mama June Shannon and Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson should be able to maintain their current lifestyle and stay in the public eye thanks to their paychecks from Marriage Boot Camp.
Mama June and Sugar Bear both starred on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo before the show was canceled last year. TLC pulled the plug after June was caught on a date with a former child molester named Mark McDaniel.
Since then, June has been desperate to return to television. She loves the spotlight. And a new show could solve any money problems caused by Here Comes Honey Boo Boo's cancellation.
But Mama June and Sugar Bear didn't just join Marriage Boot Camp for the money. They also needed to work on their relationship after splitting up last fall.

"It was our last resort," Mama June told People. "I feel like he had cheated for quite some time, and I needed some answers. It was either you go here or we end our 11 years."
June has since revealed that it was her daughters, including Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, who discovered proof of Sugar Bear's affair. June confirmed that Sugar Bear will take a lie detector test on Marriage Boot Camp that will reveal the truth about his cheating. But since filming wrapped, Sugar Bear has admitted his unfaithfulness.
"My biggest issues was my cheating," he told TooFab last month. "I’ve done that and shouldn’t have and I look back on it, I regret it and I wanted to go to Marriage Boot Camp and get the help that I need."
Mama June also told the website that Sugar Bear's affair was with a co-worker's wife. But cheating was not the only issue in Mama June and Sugar Bear's relationship.

“It’s still non-existent,” she told Huffington Post of her sex life with Sugar Bear. “He’s gotta earn a lot of trust and do a lot of the things that we talked about on Marriage Boot Camp that he promised.”
Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Star Season 2 premieres Friday night at 9 p.m. EST on WE.
