Jim Carrey showed off a shocking new transformation in his latest Twitter photo. The comedian was practically unrecognizable with his white beard and longer locks.
Carrey posted the picture above over the holiday weekend. He captioned the pic, "Happy Easter or Passover or whatever reason you can find to feel warm and fuzzy."
"this mans beard is so glorious it makes me feel warm and fuzzy," wrote @MTPJP26. @yobretbrown added, "this man looks like the reincarnation of neil young and jerry Garcia." And @ janet23hbk tweeted, "Who couldn't feel warm and fuzzy with a cute little bunny like that... and the rabbit."
Jim Carrey dons a similar look in the upcoming film Bad Batch. In the movie, the comedian plays a mute hermit who saves two people's lives. And in the trailer, Carrey's character has a scraggly white beard and long hair.
"In the script it was just a few scenes and there’s no dialogue," director Ana Lily Amirpour told Hollywood Reporter. "You send a part like that to a big actor. You couldn’t tell how important it was but he could tell, because I feel like in a way he is the hermit. He’s like the homeless guy you ignore at every street corner. It’s like two sides of the same coin, being that famous, no one really sees who you are, and being that kind of poor homeless guy, no one really sees who you are. I feel like there’s something really connected there."

Of course, Jim Carrey has transformed for movies before. He famously donned green makeup to play the title character in How The Grinch Stole Christmas. And he wore a series of disguises as the scheming Count Olaf in A Series Of Unfortunate Events.
