Both Aaron and Jordan are at the peak of their success. Aaron's football career is at an all-time time high, and he may even lead the Green Bay Packers to the Super Bowl in 2017.
Jordan, meanwhile, is still happily engaged to JoJo Fletcher despite the constant split rumors. And his TV career is really taking off. He’s working at the SEC Network and will soon start co-hosting his own radio show with former The Band Perry member Jason Fitz.
Despite the amazing success, though, there’s still a huge elephant in the room: The family feud. So what happened between Jordan and Aaron Rodgers?
Jordan first opened up about the family’s fight with Aaron on The Bachelorette. He talked about how he and his brother aren’t speaking. And even after Jordan got engaged, JoJo didn't meet his brother.
Aaron also skipped JoJo and Jordan’s engagement party. And the couple recently went on a Rodgers family road trip without the Packers star. Still, Jordan has said that he wants to invite Aaron to his wedding.
Sources say that the family started fighting in December 2014. That year, Aaron reportedly didn’t go to his grandfather’s funeral and mailed back his parents’ Christmas presents for him. He also won’t give his cell phone number to his family and told them not to visit him in Green Bay.
But Aaron hasn’t talked about the reason for his family feud. “As far as those kinds of things go, I’ve always found that it’s a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters, so I’m just – I’m not going to speak on those things, But I wish him well in the competition,” he said during Jordan's Bachelorette run.
So why are Jordan and Aaron fighting? Some reports say Aaron’s family doesn’t approve of his relationship with Olivia Munn. “The family says Aaron stopped talking to them,” a source told Us. “While Aaron says they don’t talk because his family doesn’t like Olivia.” Another source said that Olivia “has a strong personality and every meeting she has had with them has gone badly.”
During The Bachelorette, though, Jordan’s dad Ed hinted that fame had changed Aaron. So that may be a source of the tension, as well.
