Kanye West is known for being a private person, but the rapper has made some exceptions for his public fiancée Kim Kardashian. When it was time to propose to the stunning reality star, West decided to film the elaborate engagement to make his bride-to-be happy.

West famously closed down AT&T Park in San Francisco to propose to Kardashian in front of their family and friends. "When we got engaged...I made sure the show was there [filming] because I felt like that's something that would make her happy," West said on NY radio station Hot 97. “Regardless of how it was shot, I felt like this is a moment she would like to have and would like to share, and just have that documented. And we could decide later or not if we wanted to air it."

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Kim Kardashian has been touring with Kanye West (here in NYC).

West proposed to Kardashian on her 33rd birthday to make the day even more special. Kardashian gave birth to their daughter North West this summer.  West said that the couple has been "making sacrifices" in terms of what they think is “cool or not cool” for each other. West and Kardashian haven’t seemed to set an exact date for their nuptials. "[Marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don't have this sense of urgency about it,” Kardashian said before West’s big proposal. "I have this best friend who understands me and helps me through all my tough experiences, and vice versa, you know? It just feels like this is it for me." We have a feeling this is “it” for West too since the “Bound 2” rapper called his fiancée the “most beautiful woman in human existence.”

"I loved her from the first day I saw her, which I said on Bound, I don't remember when that was," West said. "Our love story's a love story for the ages. I felt like when we first got together, it was like a Romeo and Juliet kinda thing where it's like she's a reality star and I'm a rapper, and people talking about how our brands connect and what doesn't fit and I'm just so tired of the conversation of brands.”

"OK, ladies and gentlemen—all barber shops, fashion designers, architects, corner stores, Wall Street, all over the world—y'all acting like this ain't the most beautiful woman of all time! I'm talkin' like arguably of human existence—the top 10 of human existence," West raved about the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star. No argument here, Kanye, we love the future Mrs. West!
