Khloe Kardashian’s weight loss is amazing! The Revenge Body host recently opened up about her transformation. So what are her diet and exercise secrets?
In a clip from this week's episode, Khloe meets a contestant named Lauren who talks about her dad's death. Khloe then admits that she also started to gain weight after her father Robert died.
“I know, to a degree, how you feel. My dad died in 2003, I was 19. When it set in I was like … you spiral. And for me, my spiral was food,” Khloe said. “And I gained so much weight because I was so internally … just suppressing so many things that it was like eating me alive. And I was literally eating everything. But we can’t let these tragic things ruin the rest of our lives.”
Khloe went on to get her own revenge body after she split from Lamar Odom. She was so overwhelmed and only found solace when she worked out in the gym.
“When me and Lamar were having issues, I decided to channel my energy into working out … if I went out with my girlfriends I would be hounded by paparazzi and made to feel more humiliated,” she previously said. “The gym was my only refuge. I could put music on and dance around with my girlfriends and be silly.”
Thanks to a healthy diet and strict workout regimen, Khloe lost an incredible 40 pounds. And she’s become an inspiration to others looking to get fit.
“If you were to ask me five years ago if I ever saw myself being completely in love with fitness and health, that I would be an inspiration to many others, that I would be the push that others needed to find their way, I would’ve laughed in your face,” she wrote. “Me? The chubby one? No way!”
So what are Khloe’s diet and fitness secrets? Khloe works with a nutritionist and cut out soda and dairy products from her diet. She also exercises with her sister Kourtney and personal trainer Gunnar Peterson. When she’s not with them she’ll do SoulCycle and Hot 8 Yoga or go on the treadmill.
