On her new show Revenge Body, Khloe opened up about feeling insecure around sisters Kim and Kourtney. A contestant named Stephanie explained that she struggles with acne. Khloe said she had it in her 20s too while her sisters had perfect skin.
“I was like, ‘How the f-ck am I the chubby one, the this one, the that one?’ It’s like, it’s not fair,” Khloe said. But she added, “That stuff is all fixable.” Now Khloe’s going to help Stephanie and others in similar situations get their ideal revenge body.
And Khloe’s the perfect person to help. She hit the gym and got her revenge body after her split with Lamar Odom. “When me and Lamar were having issues, I decided to channel my energy into working out ... if I went out with my girlfriends I would be hounded by paparazzi and made to feel more humiliated. The gym was my only refuge. I could put music on and dance around with my girlfriends and be silly,” Khloe explained to Cosmopolitan.
Now Khloe’s in the best shape of her life. She lost an amazing 40 pounds. So what are her diet and exercise secrets?
Khloe works out three days a week with personal trainer Gunnar Peterson. She also works out with Kourtney a lot. If she can’t get to the trainer, she’ll do SoulCycle or Hot 8 Yoga, or she’ll go on the treadmill for 30 minutes. Khloe also worked with a nutritionist on her healthy diet. She cut out soda and then went dairy-free.
Mostly, though, it’s about being confident in her skin. “I love my shape because I’ve earned every curve. I work hard in the gym to get it,” Khloe has said. “But I also loved my shape before, when I was even curvier. I was always incredibly comfortable in my skin. Everybody else saw me in a different way, but I didn’t see myself that way.”
