Don’t expect to see Kristen Wiig in a Catwoman suit anytime soon. The actress told stylist.co.uk that wearing the heroine’s famous tight leather outfit would be too much work for her to handle.

"I wouldn’t be Catwoman, it would take too much energy to be her, it involves too much make-up and diet and fitness,” Wiig said. “And the black leather wouldn’t be nice when it’s extra hot out. Although [X-Men character] Mystique’s body is amazing, the scales would be too difficult to handle and they'd probably fall off."

However, Wiig added that she would not turn down a role in a superhero movie, but there needed to be certain conditions about the role she would play.

“So, I would be a naked, fleshy villain, with a lot of people around me,” she continued. “I'd have to be totally naked out of shape and I’d live in a white house, just to be different, and because villains always live in like dark places like caves. I totally have all my friends around me. But not people who had an evil streak because villains really like to be separated and be the most mean."

Before she becomes a naked villain, Wiig will lend her voice to the animated sequel Despicable Me 2. She plays a redhead names Lucy who bears some similarities to famed comedian Lucille Ball.

The actress was previously known for her work on Saturday Night Live for several seasons. Wiig admitted in a recent interview that leaving the show was difficult. “It’s getting easier now because they’re on [summer] hiatus,” she said. “I don’t imagine what they’re doing — not in a creepy way, but just … It was such a big part of my life for seven years and it was a transition to leave, but it’s getting better.”

More recently, Wiig wrote the hit comedy film Bridesmaids, which made a star of Melissa McCarthy. The comedian was offered a deal to do a sequel of the movie but turned it down.

“It wasn't a hard decision," she said. "We knew during the first one, this was it. We would have made a lot of money if there was a second one, but that's not my goal in my creative life."
