Lauren Conrad got engaged to William Tell over the weekend and flaunted the beautiful diamond ring that her famous fiancé gave her.

Conrad and Tell dated for nearly two years before deciding to get married, and the former Something Corporate rocker moved in with the former Hills star months before popping the question. “They are really excited they took this step,” a source said of Conrad and Tell’s decision to shack up. “William knows he wants to marry Lauren.”

Tell, who is currently studying law at USC, was also favored by Conrad’s family. After a string of unlucky-in-love dating plots took center stage on The Hills and Laguna Beach, the reality star turned fashion designer is happy that her family approves. In fact, Conrad recently opened up about introducing Tell to the people closest to her.

Lauren Conrad's Engagement Ring Lauren Conrad shared this photo of the enormous diamond ring she got engaged with.

“My family loves him, so they love when we come to visit,” Conrad revealed. “We spend a lot of weekends there hanging out by the pool and doing nothing.” Despite the obvious good omen, Conrad played coy when asked about getting married. “We aren’t in a rush though. We’re happy where we are right now.”

Yet, it’s clear that Conrad was delighted to become engaged to Tell, and took to her hugely successful personal blog to share the news. “I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend,” Conrad wrote. “I am beyond thrilled! Get ready for lots more wedding content here on as we begin the planning process,” the former reality star gushed. She also delivered the first photos of her engagement ring, flaunting a sizable solitaire diamond with a thick gold band. For the engagement ring picture, Conrad paired the simple, yet stunning, diamond with a script ring that spelled love.

And love was clearly in the air for the engaged couple. Conrad wrote an update hours after announcing the proposal, thanking her fans for the incredible support. “Update: William and I are overwhelmed by all of your warm wishes. Thank you so much for sharing in this special moment,” Conrad said.
