While Meghan Markle has not chosen her wedding dress yet, at least one designer has already submitted some sketches for the big event.
The sketches Dror submitted to the Palace have since leaked online. Each of the images features long, flowing skirts with lace accents and high collars. They also appear to be fairly tight around the body.
Of course, Markle could choose another designer to create her wedding dress. Some think she will opt for one of Princess Diana's favorite designers like Catherine Walker or Amanda Wakeley. But Markle's pal Joe Zee told ABC News that Markle could opt for a Stella McCartney gown.
However, Markle previously told Glamour that she is a fan of Delphine Manivet, Christos Costarellos, Elie Saab and J. Mendel. She also told the website that she loved Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy's wedding gown, which was designed by Narciso Rodriguez.
"Classic and simple is the name of the game, perhaps with a modern twist," Markle added. "I personally prefer wedding dresses that are whimsical or subtly romantic."
To adhere to royal protocal, Markle's gown will need to be fairly modest. But don't expect her to turn down the sex appeal completely! After all, the Ralph & Russo dress she chose for her engagement photos was far more risqué than anything Kate Middleton chose for her engagement pictures.
"Meghan chose a glamorous designer ballgown for the photos, which is a departure from royal engagement photos of the past," said Christine Ross, editor of the blog Meghan's Mirror. "Most royals try to appear more accessible and casual in these photos, but Meghan did things her own way and donned a sparkling gown instead. It shows that she is going to create her own path as a royal and, even in a formal gown, she is still just Meghan—that down-to-earth girl from L.A."
Prince Harry is sixth in line for the throne behind William and his three kids, and he could slip further down the line. So Markle has more flexibility than the Duchess of Cambridge does.
