Could Miley Cyrus be turning a new leaf in 2014? According to the 21-year-old “Wrecking Ball” singer, she’s leaving her scandalous twerking dance moves behind when Jan. 1 rolls around — but not on her own accord. Before hitting Atlanta’s stage for Power 96.1’s annual Jingle Ball on Wednesday, Dec. 11, the starlet hinted fans should prepare themselves for a future with less risqué performances. Wait, a second — we thought you couldn’t be tamed, Miley?

The conversation began when Cyrus was asked to describe her biggest moment of her whirlwind year."Everyone else's biggest moment of me was the VMAs," the "We Can't Stop" singer said of her notorious MTV Video Music Awards performance where she grinded against Robin Thicke and a foam finger during the duo’s rendition of “Blurred Lines”. "That was probably my biggest moment, I was pretty stoked to perform there, excited, you know."

The outrageous act caused such a stir that Cyrus thinks she’ll be banned from ever stepping foot on the VMA stage again. "I doubt they're ever gonna ask me back," Cyrus added, sounding pretty sure of herself. "Just kidding," she quipped. "Who knows."

We doubt MTV would ever ban the former Disney darling from appearing on their award show, seeing how attracted the media and fans are to her crazy antics. So what did the pixie haired damsel have to say about future — and more salacious — performances? "It kind of just opened so many doors for me to just be like, alright, I've already pissed you off as much as I possibly can," Cyrus explained. "So now I can kind of just be freer and kind of do whatever it is we want to do and also have a lot of fun."

We can’t wait to see how Cyrus shocks us in 2014! What do you think she’ll do next? Let us know your take in the comments section below!
