Lambert has reportedly lost between 30 and 45 pounds since 2012 thanks to a strict fitness regimen and diet. While she has faced plastic surgery rumors, she credits her weight loss to a healthy lifestyle.
Lambert likes to go jogging, horseback riding, and walking and does other forms of cardio. She also does circuit training with her trainer. And Lambert previously told People she does lunges and exercises with resistance bands as part of her fitness routine. “The stuff nobody loves, but it works!” she said.
Lambert also practices portion control and chooses healthy alternatives in her diet. For example, she drinks green juice instead of eating bacon and eggs and eats chicken and sweet potatoes instead of cheeseburgers and steaks.
For Lambert, dropping the pounds in a healthy way was key. Lambert previously posted a letter to fans slamming the rumors she had surgery to help her lose the weight. She stressed that it’s important to be healthy but also confident in your body.
“I lost my weight the healthy and good old-fashioned way. Watching what I eat and working out with my trainer Bill Crutchfield,” she said. “It’s not about a scale. It’s about how you feel and how your jeans fit.” She added that she was “proud to be a normal size girl and I want to encourage everyone to be confident at any size.”
