Did Bishop Ron Gibson cross the line? In tonight’s episode of Preachers of L.A. a friendly game of pool gets extremely personal when Gibson harps on Bishop Noel Jones about when he will get married to his girlfriend, Loretta. Jones’ relationship with Loretta even begins affecting the pool game when Gibson decides he wants to bet on it.

Gibson tells Jones that he can remain a bachelor in his relationship if he wins the game, but has to get married to Loretta if he loses. “That woman is physically beautiful, mentally intelligent [and] loves him to the core,” Gibson said. But Jones is less then enthused about the bet, asking, “Do I want to take the chance of ruining a marvelous friendship with marriage?”

The other preachers are appalled that Gibson would pry so deeply into Jones’ relationship. “I can’t believe Ron got all up in his personal business,” Pastor Wayne Chaney said. Minister Deitrick Haddon later declares that Gibson “went too far to put that kind of pressure on Noel over a pool game.”

Meanwhile, Haddon has his own issues to deal with during a trip to New Orleans. After spotting a homeless woman named Donna preaching the gospel on a bench, he asks her if she has money because she lacks shoes and her ankles are swelling. Donna declares that she doesn’t ask for money because she trusts that God will help her. Haddon leads a prayer session with Donna and asks God to help her continue to spread the word.
