Selena Gomez and The Weeknd totally rocked Coachella the last few days. But it wasn’t just their PDA that caught our attention. It was their spot-on style.
Taking Coachella fashion up a notch, Gomez opted for a floral HVN sundress and matching scarf that could have easily passed at a garden tea. Working with stylist Christian Classen, the brunette beauty has been adding sophisticated accents to classic styles. And we’re loving the result.
For years, fringed vests, denim cutoffs and gladiator sandals were considered essentials for the boho festival. But no longer. These days, anything goes. And we mean anything.
From floral frocks to thigh-high shorts, psychedelic hair to bombshell braids, 2017 Coachella fashion has been anything but boring.
Thanks to her stylist Classen, Gomez has been creating a look all her own. Her HVN outfit was more sophisticated than most sundresses spotted at the festival. And she and The Weeknd perfectly coordinated with their tinted sunglasses.
And Gomez isn't the only celeb switching things ups. Rather than going for the stereotypical flower-crowns, many have been killing it with longline T-shirts, drop-crotch pants, round sunglasses and chokers, metallics and prints, fun outerwear and more.
Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin nailed it in their sparkly bras during a party Kendall and Kylie Jenner hosted with Bumble. Kendall stunned in a silver sequin bra and a blue-and-pink striped duster with sleeves that matched the bra. She added white striped pants along with the obligatory chokers, including diamond-encrusted Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Hailey also wore a green sparkly bra over a green sports bra. She added dark green swimsuit bottoms under gray jeans and fabulous accessories such as her Ippolita hoop earrings.
Kylie took another approach, looking super-sexy in a glittering gold Pretty Little Thing dress and green hair at the Pretty Little Thing X Paper Magazine party.
And the Victoria’s Secret models left little to the imagination at the “Sexy Little Things” launch.
Rihanna went for an ultra-cool denim outfit while Katy Perry left little to the imagination in a sheer white Thai Nguyen dress and bunny purse. Vanessa Hudgens, meanwhile, always keeps up with the latest Coachella trends. She added to her boho duds with plenty of fringe, face jewelry, a glittering breastplate and bandana.
