Wait — what is Taylor Swift afraid of? That seemed to be the reaction most people had after reading the 23-year-old pop star’s latest interview in Marie Claire. The women’s monthly magazine didn’t hesitate to ask Swift a few personal questions during the feature interview. The questions ranged from what the country singer wore on her feet, to the number-one item on her bucket list.

But it was Swift’s response to the hard-hitting question of her top five fears that had everyone giggling, cringing and even feeling a bit of sympathy for the pop princess. During Marie Claire’s question-and-answer session we learned the five things make Swift’s skin crawl:

1.     Sea urchins

2.     Googling herself

3.     Earwigs

4.     Cynics

5.     Getting arrested

Getting arrested? That makes us wonder what the pop princess has done to even consider that a fear. According to the Huffington Post, this isn’t the first time Swift has expressed her dread of being thrown behind bars. Do you remember when Punk’d was still being aired on MTV? Well, during one of the series’ episodes, Justin Bieber decided to prank his pal by making Swift believe she set fire to a boat. The songstress was “absolutely traumatized and terrified” at the thought of putting someone in harm's way and ending up in handcuffs.

"You know, I had serious nightmares where I'd wake up in the middle of the night for, like, three weeks after that? I really thought that was it for me. I was thinking, 'Justin is 17, so he's going to juvie, but I'm going to big-girl prison,'" Swift told Rolling Stone magazine in October 2012.

And while some of us can relate to Swift’s other fears, like sea urchins and earwigs, we can't exactly find common ground with Swift's fear of Googling herself. (Just so you know, Taylor, these are the first four things that come up when Googling your name: Taylor Swift 22, Taylor Swift songs, Taylor Swift trouble, Taylor Swift Twitter).

"I don't have thick skin. If somebody says something mean, it will hurt my feelings. Anything bad that I read about myself, I'm just like … [fakes sobbing]," Swift told CMT in September 2011. "No, you can't Google yourself or your self esteem will just go like that," she continued, making a downward motion with her hand.
