The 2014 MTV Movie Awards air Sunday night. But before you watch Conan O’Brien host the annual ceremony, check out our preview below.

O’Brien is hosting the 2014 MTV Movie Awards so we should expect plenty of on-stage antics from the funny man. According to The Associated Press, the ceremony will feature an apocalypse theme, complete with plenty of fire and explosions.

Snooki Snooki arrives at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles on April 13, 2014.

“It's the most flames I’ve ever been around in my life, O’Brien said before the 2014 MTV Movie Awards. “I’ve been working in show business for a long time, and every single part of the set explodes into flames at one point during the show.”

Along with the typical honors like Movie of the Year and Best Male and Female Performance, the MTV Movie Awards will feature the usual array of unique categories. This year’s ceremony features Best Kiss, Best Fight, Best Musical Moment, Best Scared-As-S--t Performance, and even Best Shirtless Performance (where Jennifer Aniston is the only female nominee). Channing Tatum will also receive the third-ever Trailblazer Award, while Mark Wahlberg will be honored with the Generation Award.

The 2014 MTV Movie Awards will also feature clips from two highly-anticipated films. Ellen Page will present a scene from the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past, while Andrew Garfield,   Emma Stone and Jamie Foxx will reveal a new video from The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Despite all the film honors, there will be some musical performances at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, as well. Eminem will return to the ceremony’s stage for the first time since 2009 to perform “Monster” with Rihanna. Meanwhile, Ellie Goulding and Zedd will each perform tunes from the Divergent soundtrack. And duo twenty one pilots will also rock the Movie Awards stage with their new song, “Car Radio.”

While the 2014 MTV Movie Awards will certainly be plenty of fun, there will also be a somber moment when the ceremony pays tribute to the late Paul Walker. Walker, best known for his starring role in the Fast And The Furious film franchise, died in a car crash last November.

“He is so important to the MTV audience," said Jesse Ignjatovic, executive producer of the 2014 MTV Movie Awards. “People haven't had the chance to really celebrate him, and this is the place to do it.”
